Overseas Terms of Service

1. Application of Terms
These Terms of Service (hereinafter “Terms”) apply to the online shop operated by Gōdō Gaisha Humpday (“the Company”) for customers residing outside Japan. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. Orders and Contract Formation

  1. A sales contract is concluded when the Company sends an order confirmation email.

  2. Ownership of the goods transfers to the customer once the goods are handed over to the shipping carrier in Japan.

  3. The Company reserves the right to cancel orders if payment is incomplete, information is false, or delivery is deemed impossible.

3. Customs Duties, Taxes, and Import Regulations

  1. International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees in the destination country.

  2. Customers are responsible for confirming their country’s import rules before ordering.

  3. If a shipment is returned due to refusal at customs or unpaid taxes, shipping costs are non-refundable.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  1. Delivery times differ by country and are estimates only.

  2. Delays caused by customs inspections, carriers, or local regulations are beyond the Company’s responsibility.

  3. Additional fees may apply if packaging size or weight exceeds limits.

5. Prohibited Items and Restrictions

  1. Food, beverages, and other items requiring special permits are not available for international shipping.

  2. Certain products such as cosmetics or electronics may be restricted in some countries.

  3. Customers must check import restrictions before placing an order.

6. Risk Transfer
Once the product has been handed over to the shipping carrier in Japan, the risk of loss, damage, theft, customs delay, or delivery failure shall pass to the customer.
The Company’s responsibility is limited to properly packaging the order and handing it over to the carrier. We will proactively provide tracking information so that customers can follow the shipment status. Any incidents that occur during international transit are beyond our control, and customers are advised to contact the carrier directly if any delivery issues arise.

7. Returns and Exchanges

  1. Returns or exchanges for customer’s convenience (“change of mind”) are not accepted.

  2. Defective or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days of receipt.

  3. If confirmed as the Company’s responsibility, return shipping costs will be borne by the Company.

8. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for delays or failure caused by natural disasters, war, terrorism, epidemics, government restrictions, or other events beyond its reasonable control.

9. Language Priority
These Terms may be translated into multiple languages. In case of discrepancies, the Japanese version shall prevail.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of jurisdiction for any disputes.
