【Kyoto Miyako Uchiwa】Single-Side Cut-Work Fan – “Harvest Moon”

This Miyako Uchiwa is crafted using the traditional sukashi cut-work technique —
thin layers of paper are delicately carved to let the light pass through,
creating a gentle silhouette of the Harvest Moon (Jūgoya) and the rabbit that watches over it.

The two color variations echo soft Japanese seasonal hues:

• Usuzakura（薄桜） /Pink– a faint cherry-blossom pink like dusk settling over Kyoto.
• Sora（空色）/Blue – a pale sky blue reminiscent of clear autumn nights.

Designed to be displayed or used,
it fits quietly into modern interiors —玄關、living rooms, study corners —
bringing a whisper of Kyoto craftsmanship into everyday life.
